I was so impressed by the Joel Lane site in Raleigh. I've done a lot of historical tourism, but the tour at the Joel Lane House was one of the best I've done in a long time. Teri, our guide, was informative and a lot of fun. She presented the tour with a lot of humor. The property is beautifully restored and maintained. I recommend this as a highlight of things to do when visiting Raleigh.
